Our Story
In 2021, we became the proud owners of Waterlily Shoes, a beloved store in downtown Sidney. A few years later, the opportunity presented itself to purchase Provenance Fine Things, located just opposite Waterlily. With this acquisition, the two long-time sister stores were reunited, each complementing the other with their unique offerings.

Jayne Nelson
Jayne Nelson, the owner of Waterlily Shoes and Provenance Fine Things, lives by the philosophy: “We have one life—let's make it as beautiful as possible.” She brings this to life by helping others express themselves through fashion, jewellery, and a variety of unique accessories. For Jayne, home decor is another way to help people personalize their spaces, creating warm and inviting environments they can look forward to coming home to.
Beyond her business, Jayne is deeply passionate about animal welfare, regularly supporting organizations like the Victoria SPCA and other smaller welfare groups throughout Vancouver Island.
